Valentina Paglia is mainly a self-taught artist based in London. Through paintings she express her vision of the surrounding environment and her moods. This artistic choice allows her work to change considerably during the years, always reflecting her feelings in the different countries she lived. During her stay in Spain she joins an art group of six people from different nationalities, and together they created “Galeria-Espacio”, an art gallery/workspace born from the idea of sharing ideas and set up collective exhibitions. Through this group she will select and curate exhibitions of numerous artists coming from the four corners of the world.
Her works has been in various exhibitions in Italy, Spain, Japan. In London participate in exhibition in Shoreditch, live performances in Brick lane, art fair at the “OXO Tower” and one painting in permanent exhibition at “Le Dame gallery” in Regent’s Park. Her artistic activities parallels also with childhood, participating in charity events, donations and art-therapy work shops.
Levitas is her last art project. It wants to externalize the need of lightness in busy and chaotic environments. The minimal approach in the colour choice and the abstract style are blend together and brightened with light to express and accentuates this exigency.
